Training Area Overview
Loksa training area is a ~18 hectare versatile training ground combining urban environment, forested terrain and road network into a complete training complex. It is Estonia's unique location for conducting CQB, MOUT, patrol and convoy exercises in a realistic environment.
15000m² of Indoor Space
The area features 2 two-story buildings and a large high-ceiling factory, totalling 15000m² of indoor space. High ceilings, adjacent buildings and upper floors create an ideal CQB training complex.
Building Cluster — ~12 Buildings
The area features ~20 buildings: 2 two-story, 8 single-story and 2-4 ruins. The dense cluster resembles an inhabited street environment, ideal for MOUT training.
Road Network
Paved and forest roads form realistic patrol routes. Forest along the roads enables ambush setting. Suitable for convoy protection, IED response, orientation and recon exercises.
Forest and Open Area
Forest around the building cluster enables terrain-to-urban transitions — a common real-world scenario. Concealed approach, infiltration, retreat and encirclement exercises are all possible.
